At Portway Infant school we aim to provide a high-quality history education that fires children’s curiosity about the past and enables them to understand how the past has shaped our modern-day life and the diversity of human experience. Such studies help the children to understand more about themselves as individuals and members of society. |
We love learning about the past at Portway! Look at us finding out about The Great Fire of London, being a pirate for the day, discovering what castles were like long ago and acting out the story of Grace Darling.
