Forest School

Pupils particularly appreciate learning in the school’s well-equipped forest school.
Each week, they learn about the natural world and the weather, as well as enjoying art activities.

We are so lucky to have fantastic grounds that house our wonderful Forest School. We share the provision equally with Portway Junior School with whom we plan very closely with, to ensure a progressive curriculum from Reception to Year 6. We use the Forest School the whole year round as there is no such thing as bad weather! We have a fully trained Level 3 Forest School leader at the Infants and also one at the Juniors, it really is a truly well designed and delivered part of our curriculum.
