Our budget is set from our allocated annual funding from DfE via Derby City Council and is used to cover all aspects of running the school including maintenance of the premises, staffing and curriculum.
The budget is set by the headteacher and school bursar and agreed by the governing body and the finance officer on behalf of Derby City Council. Financial delegations within normal operating amounts are managed by the headteacher and school bursar with larger expenditure subject to strict guidance and overseen by the governing body.
Our schools financial management is subject to regular checks and reviews to ensure we are providing good value for money whilst maintaining a financially sustainable and responsible school.
