Can you make every number from 1 to 10 by choosing 2 numbers and adding or subtracting them? You can use each number twice in one calculation if you need to.

Find two objects around the house or outside. Compare them using the words longer/ shorter, taller/ shorter or heavier/ lighter.
Ask an adult to quiz you on one more than and 1 less than numbers up to 100 e.g. what is 1 more than 59? What is one less than 70?
If you find this difficult, use a number square to help you.
If this is too easy, change the questions to 2 more, 3 more.......10 more.
