It's time to get bug hunting, come on, let's go exploring!
Our new topic is 'Wriggle and Crawl' and we have really loved being outside and identifying mini-beasts in our garden. We have been learning about how to look after bugs and why it's so important to keep them in their natural habitat. Our story Bog Baby taught us that insects and bugs need to live outside to survive and can't be kept as pets. We will be reading the poem, 'Hey Little Ant' next week. Come back and visit us again to see some pictures of our fabulous work.
Hello and welcome!
Here in year 2 we have started our topic about 'Castles' and it is all very exciting. We've started off by investigating materials in Science. Our task was to build a strong enough castle wall to protect the King and Queen from attack. Have a look at some of our designs here.
